What You'll Be Doing
- As part of our Product Development organization, you'll help build and evolve a sophisticated suite of enterprise applications that integrate seamlessly with insurers, partners, regulators, and third parties.
- From day one, you'll get hands-on training and support to help you understand our platform and the business.
- You'll collaborate with a tight-knit team of engineers in a culture that values knowledge-sharing, curiosity, and clean code.
- You'll be involved in planning, designing, coding, testing and showcasing your work — you will see how your contribution shapes the solutions.

Job Description
Tech You'll Work With :
- You'll leverage our platforms built on AWS which scale to handle high data volume and dynamic workloads.
- You'll use technologies built on Open Source frameworks and libraries such as Spring Boot, Camel, ReactJS, Mockito and TestCafe to build new functionalities and services to meet requirements.
- At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Strong Java skills with experience building N-tier web apps using Spring, Spring Boot, and related tools like JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, and Maven.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Exposure to front-end tech (ReactJS in particular is a plus).
- 3+ years working on enterprise software systems — covering data modeling, system architecture, integrations, and web UI.
- Solid communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Bonus points if you've worked with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your role as well as use data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
