What You Will Do at BTS

At BTS Japan, you�ll work closely with colleagues on small, high-performing teams, partnering with senior leaders from Fortune Global 100 and 500 companies. You will help turn our clients� visions into results by designing tailored learning experiences that drive innovation, alignment, behaviour change, and performance.

Specifically, you will:

• Present ideas and insights to clients, design and customise learning solutions, and participate in delivering impactful experiences to client stakeholders.
• Identify and convert strategic business opportunities by assessing client needs, developing tailored proposals, and articulating BTS�s value and offerings.
• Design, facilitate, and deliver impactful leadership and business transformation programs in both Japanese and English.
• Oversee the creation and management of learning content, leveraging and developing scalable solutions across BTS globally.
• Coach, develop, and inspire team members to enhance capability, collaboration, and engagement.
• Enable clients� leaders to execute their strategies and achieve measurable results through BTS solutions.
• Lead and grow client partnerships, building trusted relationships and expanding BTS�s presence in Japan.

Who We Are Looking For

• Client Focus: Proven ability to understand client challenges and formulate solutions
• Sales Exposure: Comfort with and desire to sell. Previous exposure to selling in a consulting environment is desired
• A Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Collaboration: Work across BTS regional units and practices to ensure collaboration
• Capabilities: Demonstrable experience in learning design, facilitation, or leadership development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 15+ years of professional experience, including 5+ in leadership/organisational development consulting
• Native-level Japanese and advanced English proficiency
• Strong business/financial acumen
• Proven ability to engage effectively with senior client stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in business development and a consultative approach to sales
• Strong relationship-building, leadership, and people development skills
• Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
• Expertise in facilitation, coaching, or psychometric assessments (certification a plus)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Strong alignment with BTS�s values: entrepreneurial spirit, client-centricity, and a people-first mindset
