FP&A Analyst (8-10m JPY, Japanese a MUST, Hybrid, FMCG Industry)
We are seeking an FP&A Analyst for a key role in financial planning and analysis within a leading FMCG company. This position offers a mix of office and remote work and requires fluency in Japanese and English. You will provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Analyze monthly profit and loss statements, comparing them with forecasts, budgets, and past data.
• • Work with different departments to create annual budgets and quarterly forecasts using Hyperion.
• • Oversee various profit and loss lines, focusing on Net Sales and Advertising & Promotion expenses.
• • Provide insights to improve business operations, focusing on SKU-level margin reports and ROI assessments.
• • Create financial reports to support management decisions using tools like Power BI.
• • Ensure financial data is accurate and reliable.

Qualifications:

• • Skilled in business analysis, sales forecasting, and assessing product profitability.
• • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
• • Fluent in both English and Japanese.
• • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Power BI is a plus.
• • Reports to the Japan Finance Manager.
• • Collaborates with Japan's commercial team and global corporate functions.
