FP&A Analyst (8-10m JPY, Japanese a MUST, Hybrid, FMCG Industry)

We are seeking an FP&A Analyst for a key role in financial planning and analysis within a leading FMCG company.

This position offers a mix of office and remote work and requires fluency in Japanese and English. You will provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze monthly profit and loss statements, comparing them with forecasts, budgets, and past data.
• Work with different departments to create annual budgets and quarterly forecasts using Hyperion.
• Oversee various profit and loss lines, focusing on Net Sales and Advertising & Promotion expenses.
• Provide insights to improve business operations, focusing on SKUlevel margin reports and ROI assessments.
• Create financial reports to support management decisions using tools like Power BI.
• Ensure financial data is accurate and reliable.

Qualifications:

• Skilled in business analysis, sales forecasting, and assessing product profitability.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Fluent in both English and Japanese.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Power BI is a plus.
• Reports to the Japan Finance Manager.
• Collaborates with Japan's commercial team and global corporate functions.
