Department Overview
Features and Strengths
With the strength of the Rakuten Point market, which has surpassed 2 trillion yen in total issuance, we are building the "Rakuten Economic Circle" through service collaboration with Rakuten Group companies and the introduction of cashless settlement services in real stores, which are growing at an accelerated pace.
Our settlement services can be used at approximately 5 million online and offline locations, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and shopping malls nationwide, as well as at approximately 1 million locations where traffic-related e-money can be used, and the number of locations where this service can be used is continuing to expand.
E-money System Division handles everything, Rakuten Edy and Rakuten Cash, from system service planning related to payment services, planning and implementation related to UI/UX, basic and detailed system design, coding, testing, and operation.
As the service expands, you will be able to experience the planning, development, and operation of a very large-scale system.
In addition, you will be able to improve our services by directly listening to the voices of our customers.
It is a role to promote the upstream process of the development project for Rakuten Cash, which is an electronic money service used in various situations such as Rakuten Pay App and Rakuten Ichiba.
It is a position that requires a wide range of excellent skills such as service level, performance requirements, quality requirements, large-capacity data manipulation and other system linkage, understanding the complicated and difficult business logic peculiar to financial services. You can make a solid leap as an application engineer.
You will gain experience as a party who participates in various projects from the planning stage and builds services together with business divisions and planning.

We will assign you as PL of the development project.
Responsible for various upstream processes of system development.
Planning support, requirement definition, basic design, vendor management, test promotion, release.
Water flow development with vendor management.
