Marketing Manager Job Description

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans in corporate marketing and product marketing across the region.
- Work independently on an agile base in a fast-paced environment, influencing various stakeholders across the organization.
Critical Accountabilities:
Corporate Marketing (Corporate website, press release & communications)
- Generate new ideas, gather requirements, and discover opportunities for improvement of the corporate websites.
- Communicate with various teams to align with content, design, and strategies of the renewal work.
- Manage external vendors to create unique and effective digital and non-digital content, visuals, and marketing copies.
- Craft product storytelling vision and voice. Create key messages such as vision statement, concepts, and value propositions.
- Conduct consumer research if necessary. Verify new content ideas to assure feasibility of understanding and acceptance by website viewers.
- Regularly measure success and run the improvement cycle on the agile base.
- Create press release and communication collaterals, publish on corporate and 3rd vendor websites.
- Set product marketing budgets and track spend, always with an eye for ROI.
Product Marketing (Sell-in support for Client Services teams)
- Provide support to Client Services teams to successfully partner with new and existing clients and launch new solutions into the market.
- Lead product marketing content development by gathering the latest global product information and localizing them and create effective presentation slides.
- Conduct consumer research, build detailed personas and gain a deep understanding of the markets we serve to help inform sales and marketing activities.
- Build competitor intelligence and comparison matrix. Using this intelligence, influence sales activities, product development, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics.
- Using customer research and competitor intelligence, develop product positioning and messaging, including differentiators and use cases.
- Be the internal evangelist and educate key stakeholders on product differentiators, value propositions, and product messaging.
- Work closely with Client Services teams to create and support the go-to-market strategy.
- Stakeholder Management - work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and regularly present to the management members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate marketing, product marketing, or both at a global company, preferably in technology industry.
- Proven leadership skills in developing and executing a creative vision.
- Ability to present marketing ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, then influence.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate them into compelling, customer-focused communications.
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in web design and digital contents.
- Verbal and written proficiency in Native-level Japanese and Business-level English a must.
- Attention to details a must.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Research, analytical, and reporting skills in both quantitative and qualitative fields to identify trends and challenges and turn insights into delightful experience in a creative environment.
- Budget-management skills and proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent field.

Conditions:
- Type of contract: Permanent.
- Probationary period: 3 months.
- Working hours: 9:00-17:30(60mi break) with flextime, Teleworking.
- Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, Public holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays.
- Annual paid leave: 20 days maximum (depending on the month of joining, years of service).
- Other vacation: Congratulatory and condolence leave, Special flex leave, Refreshment leave, Child care leave, Family care leave.
- Compensation: Will be informed before the 1st interview.
- Salary revision: Once a year(revised to reflect the company and individual performance in March).
