Job Overview:
GL events Japan K.K. is the Japanese branch of GL events, a global leader in integrated event solutions and services.

As a Financial assistant, your main responsibilities shall be (list non exhaustive):

Assist in running company's books properly,
Assist with financial reports,
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department,
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies,
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas,
Constantly update job knowledge,
Assist in reporting to the Headquarter weekly or monthly,
Contact with external clients/stakeholders (auditor, financial expert),
Assist with cashflow projection,
Creation of purchase orders,
Assist with payments,
Assist with general controlling.


Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
2+ years of relevant experience
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
Professional English and Japanese is a must
Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)


As a rule, the employee must carry out any assignment within his areas of responsibility that is entrusted to him by his line manager and must make proposals to the latter.

They must comply with all the general and specific instructions given by their line manager.
