We are a production company handling a wide range of video and event productions, including nationwide TV programs, commercials for major corporations, live concert recordings of popular artists, music videos, and corporate PR videos. Our team consists of members from diverse nationalities, age groups, and backgrounds. We are currently seeking an
Accounting Department
staff member to support our video and event production teams.
The goal is to act as a liaison between clients, staff, and the company headquarters, ensuring smooth coordination and delivering an excellent client experience. Japanese will be the main language used, but candidates with English proficiency may be given broader responsibilities.
Successful candidates should possess multitasking skills to manage multiple departments and projects simultaneously, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities to build trust with multinational team members, clients, and partners. Flexibility to adapt to various requirements is also important.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Comfortable handling detailed numerical desk work
- Flexible and able to respond appropriately to different situations
- Willing to work occasional overtime during peak periods
Key Responsibilities
- Support budget management for internal projects
- Manage monthly outsourcing expenses and client billing, and prepare internal reports
- Process staff advance payments and reimbursements
- Notify vendors and clients about billing
- Consolidate invoices between vendors and clients
- Calculate overtime pay for client-based staff
- Operate and manage accounting systems (including in-house or client-specific systems)
Required Skills / Experience
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience using Google Workspace (Drive, Calendar, Meet, Gmail, Slide, Spreadsheet, Document, etc.)
- Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate level or above)
- Attention to detail with numbers and accuracy in verification
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Business-level English proficiency
- Experience or interest in broadcasting, advertising, events, or video production
- Experience as a production desk in video or event production
- Experience using iOS and Windows operating systems for work
Working Hours
Standard hours: 10:00-19:00 (8 hours/day), 5 days/week
- Overtime may occur during busy periods or event seasons
- Occasionally required to attend company/group events
