JCFS(オペレーション技術統括本部)は、アマゾンジャパンオペレーション業務の中核部門としてオペレーションの各部門を効率的に連携することに貢献します。さらに同事業部は、そのオペレーションネットワークの能力を最大化するために、継続的なプロセス改善そしてイノベーションを通した次世代のフルフィルメント能力を創造し、社内外のお客様のCustomer Experienceを高めることをミッションとしています。
アマゾンジャパンは、エンジニアリング部門において、フルフィルメントセンターにおける商品の入出荷設備の設計開発業務を行うチームのシニアエンジニアを探しています。本ポジションは、アマゾンが強みとする迅速な配送スピードを実現するマテリアルハンドリング技術開発のシニアエンジニアとして、既存フルフィルメントセンターだけでなく、新規フルフィルメントセンターの設備設計から設備導入に携わって頂きます。下記が主な業務となります。
・日本のオペレーションが計画する中期および年次計画の入出荷キャパシティを実現する高効率なマテリアルハンドリング設備を設計開発して導入すること。
・グローバルのエンジニアリングチームと連携し、最先端のプロセスを日本に導入して、次世代の入出荷能力を高めること。
・国内外の協力会社と連携するだけでなく、継続的にそれら協力会社の能力を高めて、入出荷設備の低コスト化、調達能力の拡大、変動対応力の向上を行うこと。
・革新的なアイディアを用いて、既存の入出荷能力を高めるアイディアを提案して実現すること。
・国内における複数の入出荷キャパシティ増加プロジェクトのため、既存のコミュニケーションチャネルの更なる改善を行い、他部署も含んだプロジェクト関係者を巻き込んでリーダーシップを発揮すること。
・安全基準とエンジニアリング指針に則り、標準作業作り、デザインレビュー、変更管理を通して安全な職場を実現すること。
本ポジションに期待される人材には、卓越したエンジニアリングスキル、チームメンバーと協力し高能力な設備を設計開発するスキルとリーダーシップ、そしてセルフスターターであることが求められます。
加えて卓越した技術的問題解決能力、優れたプロジェクトマネジメントスキル、グローバルと連携した大規模なプロジェクト参加経験、そして速いペースかつあいまいさの中で行われるエンジニアリング業務に熱意を持って取り組まれた経験を持った方を求めています。またグローバルを含めた社内の様々なチーム内の異なった階層の方々と柔軟にやり取りを行い、さらに外部の協力会社も巻き込んでプロジェクトを推進していくことが必要であるため、高いコミュニケーション能力も求められます。

3 20% 大規模なエンジニアリングプロジェクトにおいて技術的なリーダーシップを発揮する。
4 20% サイトレイアウト、設備スペック、モノの流れ、プロセス設計、労働生産性を考慮して、イノベーションの創出を伴った最適な入出荷方法の設計を行うことをリードする。
5 10% 内部のチームおよび外部のベンダーとコミュニケーションおよびネゴシエーションを行い、短期間で高品質かつ低コストな入出荷方法を実現する。
6 10% グローバルエンジニアリングチームとのコミュニケーションを行い、グローバルで開発される最新技術を継続的に把握し、それらの新技術を日本へ導入すし、継続的に日本のフルフィルメント能力を向上する。
A day in the life
Retrofit Engineeringに所属するSenior Engineerは既存のフルフィルメントセンター、ソートセンターなどで実行される、プロセス変更を伴う設備改造において、5つの管理項目(安全管理/品質管理/工程管理/設備管理/予算管理)を軸に、技術的かつ専門知識を以って、工事全体を管理=Construction Management/Manager(CM)を担います。
安全管理は、ルールブックに基づいた作業が実施されているかのチェックを日々行います。また工事期間中の節目におけるSafety Reviewをリードします。
品質管理は、各機器の能力と搬送エラー率を測定し、不具合を洗い出しつつ、適切な設備に仕上げます。Launch日までに確実な設備能力が発揮できるように、ストレステストや試運転調整をリードします。
工程管理は、計画通りの工事進捗となるように、マテハン設備の据付工事のみならず、Storage/IT/Facility関連の配線/配管工事を含めた全ての工程について、工事の詳細内容を把握し、日々発生する現場の変更内容を正しく判断します。また想定外の事案が発生した場合は、関係部署と確認・調整を行いつつ、必要があれば工程変更も視野に入れながら、変更点管理を行います。
設備管理は、安全仕様書の規定に沿った設計と据付がなされているかのチェックを日々行います。変更の記録はVendorとのミーティング議事録に残すだけでなく、最終図面に確実に反映します。
予算管理は、全ての工事案件の発注/検収業務を行い、予算管理台帳に基づいた予算の消化状況を報告します。
About the team
アマゾンジャパンはフルフィルメントセンターの大型改修工事を毎年2~3件ほど実施しています。今後はソートセンターの改修工事も予定しており、既存プロセスとレイアウトの大規模な変更を行い、設計と施工管理を担当するチームです。コンセプト設計を開始してから工事を開始するまでは、半年から長くても1年程度の期間で、工事は10か月から長くて2年と中長期となり、社内の改修工事の中でも大型のプロジェクトを管理しています。工事は早朝から行いますので、工事期間中はフルフィルメントセンターの近くのホテルに滞在し、日々現場に出社します。1つのプロジェクトに対して3~6名のエンジニアが担当していますが、課題解決のためお互いに情報共有、相談、サポートをしながら業務を進めています。フレックスタイムを導入しており、事前に業務調整を行いながら家庭の事情に合わせたシフト勤務を組んでいるパターンもあり臨機応変に対応しています。早朝工事を担当する場合、AM5:00に出社するケースや、夜間工事を対応する場合もあります。いずれも8時間勤務を原則として、プロジェクトメンバーで勤務シフトを組んで、偏りのないバランスを重視した体制を取ります。

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 物流(マテリアルハンドリング、ストレージ)あるいは製造設備の設計や導入を行った経験- 3年以上のエンジニアリングチームをリードした経験
- CADソフトウェアを使った設計経験
- 海外を含む社内他部門および外部ベンダーとコミュニケーションを取り、計画どおりに業務を推進した経験
- マイクロソフトオフィスを使ってデータ分析や技術レポートを作成できるスキル
- 日本語と英語の両言語における、口頭と書面でのコミュニケーション能力(日常会話レベル、提案書の読解)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3年以上のエンジニアリングチームをリードした経験- 特許出願経験
- 自動搬送装置、梱包機械、ロボットおよびハイスピードの製造装置を設計して導入するスキルと経験
- リーン生産方式に基づいたプロセス設計のスキルと経験
- 1億円規模以上の設備投資、または5千万円以上の改善効果を創出したプロジェクトを発案、管理、推進した経験
- システム設計、システム構築、システム分析のスキルと経験
- チーム管理能力、かつ変化が激しい環境下で自立的に業務を進めることができる能力
- 組織の目標を実現するため、社外のビジネスパートナ―及び社内のプロジェクトチームを鼓舞して効果的に業務を遂行することができる高いコミュニケーション能力
- 日本語と英語の両言語における、口頭と書面での高いコミュニケーション能力 (ビジネスレベル、提案書の作成)
