As an STOmics Application Scientist, you will play a key role as both a scientific consultant and a business development representative.
- You will actively engage in networking through conferences, workshops, and international consortia to introduce Stereo-seq technologies to the academic community, identify new opportunities, and expand STOmics partnerships with KOLs. You will manage follow-up activities until they are transitioned to the sales team for closure.
- Additionally, you will provide tailored project solutions to KOLs and industrial partners by leveraging your scientific expertise and industry knowledge to empower the regional sales and technical support teams in closing deals.
- Internally, you will collaborate closely with the Product, R&D, and tech support teams to deliver integrated product and application solutions that meet the needs of our scientific customers and industrial partners.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. with approximately 2–4 years of experience in the life science industry and a sound scientific foundation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in histology, single-cell, spatial, and/or NGS workflows, as well as data analysis software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, dedicated to excellence, and eager to embrace new challenges.
- English is the primary working language. Proficiency in Japanese or Mandarin is required; proficiency in both is a plus.
- Willing to travel across APAC regions as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A solid scientific foundation with high-impact publications in spatial genomics or single-cell sequencing.
- A proven track record in academic networking and business development.
- Proficiency in common molecular biology bench techniques and histological practices such as ISH and IHC/IHF.
- Educational or professional experience at internationally renowned universities, research institutions, or within the life science industry.
