Role Description

Our Customer is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, ideally within Japanese manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise, a deep understanding of Japanese business culture, and the ability to drive successful SAP implementations through effective stakeholder engagement and change management (OCM). Familiarity with SAP FMS/AFS solutions will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of SAP FICO functional experience including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, and Costing.
  • Working knowledge of local statutory and tax reporting requirements.
  • Strong exposure to Japanese manufacturing industry practices.
  • Strong cultural understanding and ability to work effectively with Japanese stakeholders.
  • Exposure to OCM and user enablement during transformation projects.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP FMS (Fashion Management Solution) or AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multicultural teams.
  • Locals are highly preferred.
  • Japanese language skills (business level) preferred; English fluency required.
  • S/4HANA implementation experience.
  • Cross-functional understanding of logistics modules.
  • Experience with global template rollout projects.
