Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer at Blue Laser Fusion, located in the Greater Osaka area. The Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks such as designing and testing laser systems, conducting research and analysis, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and improve fusion technology.

Qualifications

• Strong background in physics, engineering, or a related field
• Experience with laser systems, optics, and/or plasma physics
• Proficiency in scientific software and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of fusion technology and nuclear physics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with project management is a plus
• Native‑level Japanese and fluent English required
