Role OverviewWe are seeking one dedicated professional to join our secretariat. This is a comprehensive role that combines essential association management with high-level advocacy support.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations that keep the association running, while also serving as a vital coordinator for our policy-related activities.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in operational excellence and wants to be at the heart of the digital asset industry.
Key Responsibilities- Association Operations & Membership Management
Handle essential back-office functions such as basic accounting, general affairs, and administrative tasks.
Organize and manage the logistics for Board of Directors meetings and Regular Member meetings.
Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of association management to ensure organizational stability.
- Working Group & Advocacy Support
Accompany working group members and legal experts to meetings with regulatory authorities (e.g., FSA) and political stakeholders.
Document high-level discussions through professional meeting minutes and ensure all follow-up tasks are organized and executed.
- Event Management
On event days, provide full-day, on-site support for preparation, logistics, and operational management.
What We Are Looking For
We do not expect a single candidate to excel in every responsibility listed or to have prior experience in all of these areas.
However, we are looking for someone who can clearly demonstrate:Where your specific strengths lie within the scope of these responsibilities.
A genuine and strong interest in the digital asset industry (this is mandatory).
Critical Requirements
Native-Level Japanese:
Essential for handling technical industry/legal terminology and maintaining professional etiquette (kizukai) with politicians and government officials.
Presence:
Must be able to work from our Minato-ku, Tokyo office at least once a week and provide full-day on-site support during scheduled events.
QualificationsOperational Mindset:
A strong sense of responsibility for administrative and back-office tasks.
Professional Etiquette:
High-level interpersonal skills for engaging with prominent stakeholders.
Organizational Excellence:
Meticulous attention to detail in scheduling and minute-taking.
Preferred Experience:
Backgrounds in General Affairs, Executive Assistant roles, Sales, or Project Coordination.
