PURPOSE

SITA is a dynamic organisation delivering IT solutions to customers in the Aviation industries. Our customers are mainly the Airports and Airlines within Asia Pacific and India Sub-Continent Region. As a Project Manager, you represent the APAC Project Management team as the delivery lead from the bid lifecycle to delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with the bid management and varies business unit and stakeholders across SITA to manage customer business opportunities from project management perspective, in support of SITA business objectives and business growth with focus on the APAC Region. This role plays an active part in the entire proposal to contractual to delivery life cycle, to produce winning proposals or contracts that meet the customer requirements, aligned with SITA project management best practices, processes and methodologies. Demonstrating excellence in delivery of projects on time, to quality, within scope, to cost/revenue expected and with a continuous focus on customer satisfaction. You will report to the Senior Project Portfolio Manager within the APAC Professional Services and Systems Integration Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represents the Delivery function during the Bid Lifecycle.
• Responsible to support bid managers and provides input to sales and bid/commercial teams during the pre-contract phase to ensure that the projects are realistic and achievable in delivery implementation phase, in the areas of scope, budget, quality, feasibility and time.
• Analyses and understands the customer's detailed requirements to develop the optimum delivery strategy and associated appropriate level of bid responses needed to bid successfully.
• Develops the overall project plan to achieve the contracting deliverables in a cost-effective approach.
• Owns the overall project management bid response, assessing the risk to deliver a successful project, and ensuring that these are addressed and mitigated appropriately.
• Identify potential subcontractors or partners and selecting / negotiating / contracting with such parties under the guidance of SITA procurement management.
• Support the Solution to Delivery Handover from the Presales Bid Lifecycle to the assigned Delivery Project Manager and Implementation Team
• Managing Projects as customer facing project manager, you are responsible to lead the project throughout the delivery lifecycle from inception through to project closure, and transition handover to Operation Support.
• Communicate progress regularly and clearly to the relevant SITA senior management and stakeholders, ensuring that project implementation risks are minimize and mitigate.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Project Management or Bid Management
• Possess Technical and Solution-Oriented Analytical Skills, Business Commercial Acumen with strong attention to details.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skill, Independent, Self-driven and highly motivated
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point Presentation Skill, SharePoint, Project Management Tool
• Preferable from Information Technologies, Engineering or Aerospace Degree background, PMP preferred.
