Develop reporting and insights on customer behavior and engagement to inform marketing strategy for Amazon Japan. Drive customer flow and engagement behaviors analysis using latest data tools and advanced analytical techniques.
Key job responsibilities:
• Translate complex problems into analysis and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with finance and marketing managers to deliver analytics solutions
• Design rigorous experiments on marketing actions effectiveness and efficiency
• Leverage internal data to increase marketing spend efficiency
• Own design, development, automation, and maintenance of ongoing and ad-hoc metrics, reports, and analysis
A day in the life: Deep dive into key input metrics and factors that explain financial output and increase in new customers
About the team: Partner closely with Prime & Marketing teams and teams that impact customer engagement
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience in scripting for automation and advanced SQL skills
• Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working with business stakeholders to translate data and business needs
• Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
