PROEVER is an AI-powered project management platform built in Japan and now preparing for global expansion.

We are looking for a
Tokyo-based, Japanese–English bilingual Product Engineer
to drive the large-scale renewal and technical evolution of PROEVER.

Management Solutions (MSOL) is a Japan-based consulting firm specialized in project and program management. We support enterprise projects from executives to frontline teams as a hands-on PMO partner.

• Centralizes project data across the organization
• Provides a
  program-level, cross-project view
  , not just task/issue tracking

  to support decision-making, risk management, and reporting for executives and PMOs

PROEVER is positioned as a
core business
in MSOL's mid-term strategy. To remove technical constraints from the initial release and prepare for further growth, we are planning a
major product renewal
and strengthening our engineering team.

Role Overview

As a
Product Engineer
, you will:

• Design and develop
  web application features
  for PROEVER (both new development and improvements)
• Work across
  frontend, backend, and database
  in a modern TypeScript / + Azure stack
• Help improve our
  development process, automation, and engineering practices
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and product members

Depending on your experience, you may also take on
team management and technical leadership
within the product team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve
  web application features
  for PROEVER
• Collaborate on
  requirements definition and prototyping
  , and create technical specifications
• Design and implement
  frontend, backend, and database
  components
• Use
  CI/CD
  and testing practices to ensure quality and stable releases
• Conduct
  code reviews
  and contribute to engineering standards and best practices
• Improve
  development workflows and automation
  (e.g., CI/CD, tooling)
• Work closely with
  product managers, designers, and other engineers
  to deliver value to enterprise customers
• (Depending on experience) Support
  team management and mentoring
  of other engineers

Requirements – Must-Haves

• 5+ years
  of professional
  web application development
  experience
• Knowledge of
  frontend technologies
  such as React and
• Knowledge of
  backend technologies
  such as , TypeScript, or Java
• Experience in
  database design and administration
  (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience using
  cloud services
  (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience using
  CI/CD tools
  (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• 3+ years
  of
  team management or technical leadership
  experience
• Strong interest in
  AI / generative AI
  for software development, or hands-on experience in professional or personal projects
• Fluent Japanese
  (business level or higher) for daily communication and documentation
• Business-level English
  for communication with global partners and vendors

Preferred – AI Agent Experience (Strong Plus)

AI agent development experience
, such as:

• Designing and implementing
  AI agents
  using frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, Azure AI Foundry, etc.
• Implementing
  multi-step reasoning, state management, tool calling, and workflow orchestration
• Using
  LLMs
  (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, etc.) to build decision-making, analysis, and automation features
• Designing and implementing
  RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
  architectures
• Embedding
  AI agents into products or business systems
  and operating them in production
• Experience with
  prompt design, evaluation, guardrails, and performance tuning
  for LLM-based systems

• Work style:
  Hybrid with flextime (no core time)
• We expect regular on-site collaboration for releases, workshops, and team communication, so we are looking for candidates
  based in Tokyo (or willing to relocate)
  and within commuting distance of HQ.
• Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Japan.
