We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong backend, frontend, and cloud engineering background to serve as a key technical contributor for our innovative and standardized in-house cybersecurity products and solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to internal customers across the Rakuten Group.

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance.

As a senior engineer, you will play an important role in defining technical standards, improving development practices, and promoting architectural consistency across both backend and frontend components, while also mentoring team members and supporting knowledge sharing within the team.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with .NET / C#, modern frontend frameworks (such as React and ), and cloud infrastructure (especially Azure), along with a solid understanding of secure system design.

In addition, the candidate should have a sound understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical experience leveraging AI-powered tools or prompt engineering to improve engineering productivity, automation, or operational efficiency, with appropriate consideration for security, privacy, and governance.

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with a strong backend and cloud engineering background who will act as a key technical contributor in building, standardizing, and continuously improving enterprise-grade cyber security platforms and services.

Required Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in medium to large-scale enterprise environments
Proven expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining .NET Core / .NET applications using C#
Strong experience with ASP.NET Core frameworks for web and enterprise application development
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and clean architecture
Hands-on experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance

Full-stack development experience, including:
Frontend technologies such as TypeScript, React, and
Backend API development and integration
Solid experience with Python for backend services, automation, or tooling
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, with hands-on experience in Azure (preferred), AWS, and/or GCP
Proven experience in designing secure cloud architectures for both development and production environments, including identity, networking, and access control
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, and a strong commitment to testable and maintainable code
Strong understanding of Web Services and API technologies, including RESTful APIs and SOAP
Experience working with relational databases (Azure SQL / MS SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB)
Solid knowledge of SQL and ORM/data access technologies such as Entity Framework Core and Dapper
Experience with software analysis, troubleshooting, performance tuning, testing, and debugging of .NET (C#) and JavaScript/TypeScript applications
