The team
Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam is part of a 300 strong global delivery network, supporting Hitachi Digital Services around the globe. Our employees collaborate with teams in Japan, India, Portugal, and the US, servicing customers worldwide and working on a huge variety of projects. From cloud migration to digital modernization and advanced analytics, offering operational excellence, agile delivery, and plenty of energy to work on huge transformation projects for our customers.
The role
Responsibilities
The Japanese Speaking Software Engineer will work along with team members and customer, report directly to the project manager. Main responsibilities will include delivering new features, follow software development process, and contribute ideas to improve the project as follows:
- Participate in development activities such as programing, testing, making design documents.
- Analyze requirements directly throughout Japanese documents.
- Support Japanese communication happening in project.
- Develop and review technical documents.
- Verify system before delivery.
- Work closely with Project Manager for progress checking and output verification.
What You'll Bring
- B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant major.
- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or higher is required; English proficiency is a plus.
- Highly motivated to learn new technologies and domains, with a strong desire to build and develop a long-term career in Japan. Minimum commitment: 2 years.
- Having at least 3 years of experience in software development.
- Experience in Java/.Net/C++ languages, etc.
- Have knowledge about Software Development Process, Object Orient Programming, etc.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Responsible, collaborative, and team-oriented.
