We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Project Rollout Manager to oversee and execute end-to-end installation projects.
The ideal candidate will manage site preparations, coordinate with internal teams and external contractors, ensure timely and quality delivery, and handle on-site troubleshooting and training.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient rollout of equipment installations across sites.Key Responsibilities:
Installation Work Management
Develop and maintain detailed installation guidelines, SOPs, and reporting formats
Prepare project rollout schedules and implementation roadmaps in coordination with key stakeholders
Conduct pre-site coordination, including material readiness, documentation, and interdepartmental alignment
Oversee and validate the completion and quality of installation outputs, ensuring alignment with project specifications
Coordinate closely with the Field Service Team to ensure correct personnel are deployed to site, and that back-up personnel are available to guarantee smooth implementation
On-Site Responsibilities
Perform on-site equipment setup, configuration tuning, and system adjustments
Act as the primary site coordinator to manage contractor access, obtain permits, and oversee logistics at each site
Identify DOA (Dead on Arrival) equipment and manage the replacement and resolution process
Coordinate and carry out hardware replacements for defective units as needed
Deliver on-the-job training (OJT) for contractors and ensure adherence to safety and technical standards
Conduct site surveys and validate on-ground conditions before installation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
Japanese language proficiency is mandatory
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in project rollout, field engineering, or installation management
Strong understanding of hardware deployment, site logistics, and technical troubleshooting
Experience with vendor/contractor coordination and site compliance processes
Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills
Willingness to travel to various project sites as required
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail with a strong client-first mindset
Apply critical thinking and sound independent judgment consistently
Understand that competitive compensation comes with higher expectations and accountability
Perform effectively in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
Take initiative, work independently, and deliver with minimal supervision
Are committed to continuous improvement and long-term professional growth
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or similar Project Management Certification
Prior experience with large-scale tech or infrastructure rollouts
Familiarity with health & safety compliance in installation projects
