As part of our expanding APAC team, you will lead a talented group of specialists within our Client Success and Implementation functions, supporting our most strategic enterprise customers. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator, skilled at both empowering teams and collaborating across multiple departments. What you'll own as the
Head of Enterprise Operations

  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with strategic enterprise clients, serving as their trusted advisor and representing Worldpay's Enterprise Operations function in all interactions.
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention by proactively managing communications, anticipating client needs, and ensuring outstanding service, solutions, and issue resolution.
  • Lead and oversee the full client journey for enterprise customers, including implementation, project delivery, escalation management, and execution of strategic account plans.
  • Champion client advocacy and loyalty, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and collaborating with sales, product, and technology teams to introduce new Worldpay solutions.
  • Stay current with Worldpay's product and service portfolio, ensuring your team and clients are informed about updates, enhancements, and industry trends.
  • Conduct strategic business reviews with clients to align Worldpay's capabilities with their evolving business objectives, co-creating partnership plans that drive mutual success.
  • Select, develop, and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within Enterprise Operations.
  • Monitor operational performance and service delivery, analysing SLAs, customer feedback, and key metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance customer experience, and drive operational excellence across the function.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and global teams, including compliance, product, and technology, to ensure seamless service and alignment with Worldpay standards.
  • Oversee training and enablement for client-facing teams, ensuring readiness for new product launches and upgrades.
  • Represent Worldpay at client sites and industry events, with travel as required to strengthen client engagement and team cohesion.
  • Co-own compliance and regulatory responsibilities in partnership with local compliance teams, ensuring all client operations meet relevant standards in Japan.
  • Manage expectations and communications with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Take ownership of additional duties as assigned, supporting the growth and success of Worldpay's Enterprise Operations in Japan.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally across Worldpay's regional and global teams, and externally with clients, card networks, issuing banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Client Success and/or Implementation roles, with a strong track record in client relationship management and/or sales of technology products and services within the financial industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Worldpay's products and services, able to represent the full portfolio to clients and act as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic business acumen, including broad knowledge of financial and data processing operations, and the ability to drive initiatives that deliver success for Worldpay and our clients.
  • High-level negotiation and presentation skills, ensuring contract renewals, product and revenue growth, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills, leading by example, motivating teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get into the details, providing direct support and guidance to your team and customers when needed.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict management, and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Experience navigating compliance and regulatory requirements, working closely with Worldpay's local compliance teams to ensure all activities meet relevant standards.
  • Customer-focused leadership, consistently striving to deliver outstanding experiences and build lasting partnerships.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with stakeholders at all levels in both languages.
