Job Description:

Le Volontariat International en Entreprise est un programme unique au monde sponsorisé par le Ministère français de l'Économie, des Finances et du Travail et qui permet à Airbus d'offrir à de jeunes professionnels la possibilité d'acquérir une expérience rémunérée et valorisante à l'étranger, dans un métier technique ou commercial.

Le programme VIE est un contrat spécifique, en vertu des critères d'éligibilité de Business France.

Principaux critères d'exigibilité du VIE :

  • Être citoyen(ne) de l'Union Européenne (plus Norvège, Islande et Liechtenstein), et candidat(e) diplômé(e) âgé(e) de 28 ans maximum.

  • Avoir accompli les obligations militaires de son pays.

Un poste sous contrat VIE en tant que Business Developer est à pourvoir au sein d'Airbus Defence and Space à Tokyo (Japon). Vous rejoindrez le département Sales d'Airbus Defence and Space - Space Digital pour la région Asie-Pacifique.

Missions et responsabilités :

Intégré(e) dans l'équipe de vente APAC d'Airbus Space Digital, vous serez en charge des activités principales suivantes :

  • Accompagner notre partenaire pour le marché défense dans la promotion des produits et solutions Space Digital auprès des agences de Défense, en particulier les produits et services d'observation de la Terre issus de notre dernière génération de satellites Pléiades Neo.

  • Développer le marché civil Japonais, en coopération avec nos équipes Marketing/Ventes et nos revendeurs, en se focalisant sur les marchés de l'agriculture, de la forêt, de l'environnement, de la cartographie, du développement urbain, du développement durable, etc.

  • Développer des opportunités pour nos activités de Communication Sécurisée à travers de nouveaux partenariats.

  • Réaliser des présentations devant des partenaires ou clients, participer à des événements (conférences, salons,…) pour promouvoir notre portfolio.

  • Analyser et cartographier les marchés de la défense, du spatial et des analytics au Japon.

Le poste sera basé à Tokyo mais des déplacements professionnels occasionnels dans les préfectures sont à prévoir (une ou deux fois par mois) et vous devez donc être disposé(e) à vous déplacer en conséquence.

Compétences requises :

Vous avez les expériences et les compétences suivantes :

  • Titulaire au minimum d'un Master en Business/Marketing et/ou diplôme d'Ingénieur.

  • 1 à 2 ans d'expérience dans une fonction commerciale ou marketing

En outre, vous êtes en mesure de démontrer les compétences suivantes :

  • Grande aptitude à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles.

  • Capacité à travailler en équipe mais aussi en toute autonomie.

  • Fort intérêt pour le domaine spatial ou les produits de haute technologie

  • Bonne connaissance de l'Asie et de ses cultures.

  • Compétences linguistiques : Anglais de négociation ; Japonais intermédiaire.

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old

  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

The contract duration of this VIE is between 12 to 24 months.

A VIE for a Business Developer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Tokyo (JAPAN). You will join the Sales department of Airbus Space Digital within the Asia-Pacific region.

Well established in Japan through strategic partnerships, Airbus Space Digital intends to sustain its activities in this country by strengthening its business development. This will be an opportunity for the VIE to discover exciting products that meet the needs of demanding markets.

Tasks & accountabilities :

Integrated into the Airbus Space Digital APAC Sales team, you will be in charge of the following main activities:

  • Support our strategic partner for defence market in the promotion of the Space Digital products and solutions towards the Defence customers, especially the Earth Observation products and services from our latest Pleiades Neo satellite constellation.

  • Develop the Japanese civilian market, in cooperation with our sales/marketing teams or resellers, focussing on market such as agriculture, forestry, environment, mapping, urban development, sustainable development, etc.

  • Develop opportunities for our Secured Communication business through new partnerships

  • Make presentations in front of partners or customers, participate to events (conferences, exhibitions,…) to promote our portfolio.

  • Analysis and mapping of the defence, space and analytics markets in Japan

This role is based in Tokyo but will involve some travel for business (once or twice per month) in the prefectures, and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills :

You have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to minimum degree level of Master degree in Business/Marketing and/or Engineering

  • 1 to 2 years experience in sales, business development or marketing role

in addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work as part of a team and autonomously

  • Strong interest for space domain or high-tech products

  • Good understanding/knowledge of Asia and its cultures

  • Language Skills: English (negotiation), Japanese (intermediate)
