*NOTE: This is a Sub-contract(業務委託) position. The candidates have to currently based in Japan to apply for this role.
Language requirements: Business-level in both English and Japanese*
We are looking for a technical project manager (working with LINE, KakaoTalk, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to join the team in Japan on a contract basis.
You will be working on both local and global-led initiatives, working on the end-to-end delivery of consumer engagement projects in APAC and potentially other regions.
The position is based in Tokyo, Japan.

- Delivery of projects from inception to support, taking ownership of projects through client processes.
- Working with key stakeholders and brands to manage system development, testing and post-go-live support.
- Understanding business needs and being able to translate these into understandable, actionable requirements.
- Support the running of existing applications managed by the Social Tech team
- Hands-on delivery of projects, working with product owners to ensure the brand's needs are met and troubleshooting through any challenges or issues.
- Strong interaction and collaboration with colleagues from Technologies in Italy and Paris, as well as digital teams, to deliver projects in a timeline fashion
- Work with and manage external vendors both based in Japan and offshore
What you'll need to succeed
- 3 years experience in project management, ideally in using agile frameworks.
- 2 years experience as a tester preferable to digital technologies such as web applications, marketing automation, CRM
- Understand and be able to use API platforms such as Postman.
- Understands principles of web development testing such as performance and penetration testing.
- Experience of using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Have a "can do" mindset and a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand complex business processes and requirements
- Experience working with brand and technology stakeholders across multiple countries
- Fluency in English and ideally Japanese or Korean, both written and spoken.
