Onshape Program Management

PTC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee daily operations related to Onshape sales in Japan. This role is responsible for monitoring team activities, tracking performance against goals, and supporting strategic initiatives to grow Onshape's presence in the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, streamline operations, and ensure alignment with global strategies. While a strong technical background is not required, familiarity with CAD or experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

This role reports to the Japan Head of Channels and will collaborate regularly with global headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Rapidly learn the appropriate industries, Onshape solutions, and the benefits of the CAD, PDM Cloud model.
• Utilize for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Onshape sales team in Japan
• Monitor team activities and assess performance against KPIs
• Support strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the Japanese market
• Coordinate with marketing and cross-functional teams to align campaigns and messaging
• Facilitate communication between Japan-based teams and global headquarters
• Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company procedures
• Conduct all business ethically and in line with company guidelines

Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in sales operations, business development, or related roles
• Experience in the software or manufacturing industry preferred
• Familiarity with CAD tools is a plus, but not required
• Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments
