What does a successful Engineering Leader/Director do?
As an Engineering Leader responsible for Software, Infrastructure, and Platforms at Fiserv, you will lead software architecture and execute the infrastructure, design, development, and integrations for payments, point-of-sale (POS), and digital solutions (DX) for merchants. You will lead multiple engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance the overall performance and functionality of our systems.
What you will do:
- Establish a comprehensive view of the full value chain for systems architecture and infrastructure.
- Embrace and implement Agile development principles across projects.
- Lead and manage teams in developing high-performance and quality systems.
- Mentor and guide engineers and product owners for career development and technical skills enhancement.
- Set and manage performance expectations, and provide active coaching to advance functional and team skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, vendors, and peers to maintain strong relationships.
- Drive informed decision making through open dialogue and goal setting.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, and platform development.
- Broad experience with REST APIs and microservices, focusing on software integrations with third-parties.
- Solid experience managing and troubleshooting online/mobile services and portals in on-premise or hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of payment technologies, application security integration and implementation, POS, and DX solutions.

- 10+ years of experience in leading software development projects.
- Experience in mentoring and empowering cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with the latest market trends and innovations in technology.

必要な経験・スキル:
- ソフトウェア、インフラ、プラットフォーム開発における8年以上の経験
- REST APIおよびマイクロサービスに関する幅広い経験、特にサードパーティとのソフトウェア統合に関する知識
- オンプレミスまたはハイブリッドクラウド環境におけるオンライン/モバイルサービスおよびポータルの管理・トラブルシューティング経験
