Purpose of the Role
Manage activities of planning and scheduling group to achieve targeted service and Inventory levels while controlling operational costs. Meet established objectives. Support employees in Planning and Scheduling while acting as a technical resource, business leader, and mentor.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a high-performance team of self-directed supply chain planner professionals; provide leadership and mentoring to achieve defined objectives
Develop and lead S&OP process and facilitate timely and efficient gathering and dissemination of information
Drive input from Sales, Marketing and Product Management to improve the overall forecasting process
Effectively communicate and coordinate the flow of information necessary to plan, evaluate performance, and highlight risks (known and perceived)
Develop and lead continuous business process improvement initiatives
Manage stakeholders at a local level (Commercial, Regulatory/Trade Compliance, Distribution & Logistics)
Effectively network with Global Supply Chain colleagues as well as with counterparts across APAC with a view to introduce best practices with the Japan SC
Uses analytical skills to immediately resolve issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurrence
Manage the purchase planning activities for procured products from intercompany suppliers
Maintain and monitor inventory levels to ensure service & inventory levels are well-balanced and on target
Assist in the implementation of all SAP planning modules

分析能力を駆使して問題を即座に解決し、根本原因の分析を行って再発を防止する
インターカンパニーサプライヤーからの調達品の購買計画の管理
サービスレベルと在庫レベルのバランスが取れ、目標に沿っていることを確認するための在庫レベルの維持と監視
すべてのSAPプランニングモジュールの導入支援

Projects successfully delivered within agreed timelines

Candidate's Profile
Education/Professional Experience
Degree / Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or business qualifications
At least 10 years of Demand & Supply Planning experience with at least 3 years in a Supervisory position.
APICS Certification's like CSCP, CPIM will be an advantage
SAP experience will be an advantage
Fluent spoken and written in Japanese and English.
