About Organization
The goal of the Edge and Core Innovation Department is to plan, engineer, design, develop, and deliver Core and Edge-based Solutions and Products that contribute to increasing revenue and subscriber growth. This involves leveraging AI, Mobile, and Web Apps development, implementing DevOps for Core Apps, and incorporating Automation best practices to enhance efficiency. The focus is on achieving highly technical and optimized results.
Position Details
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and QA Engineers to introduce new features.
- Work closely with API and other UI engineers to create and maintain a top-notch system for our extensive user base apps.
- Research, suggest, and collaborate on advancing the technology of our Android apps consistently.
- Stay updated on the latest Android technologies for application to our products.
- Enhance technology, processes, teamwork, and seek opportunities to implement improved solutions.
Mandatory Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficient in developing Android apps using Kotlin with over 3 years of experience
- Thorough understanding of the latest features and best practices for Android platform development
- Familiarity with Android Architecture Components such as Data Binding, Live data, Navigation, Paging, Room, View Model, Work Manager, Hilt(Dagger 2) or Koin
- Proficiency in tools like Studio, Intellij, Jenkins/Bitrise, Gradle, git
- Knowledge of Third-party libraries, KTX, Retrofit, Glide, Coroutine, Google Map
- Effective communication skills, a positive mindset, and empathy
- Driven by the motivation to develop products with teams
- Aim to continuously enhance, propose ideas for the organization and teams
- Strong UX and design awareness, focusing on the bigger picture
- Experience in Agile development
- Ability to write Unit tests
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in RESTful API development (Spring boot)
- Experience in establishing CI/CD development cycles
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Background in working on consumer-facing products
- Experience in internationalization development
- Familiarity with Material design guidelines and components
- Knowledge of automated testing
- Understanding of Jetpack compose
- Experience in projects with multiple modules and flavors
- Proficiency in using Gradle Build system
