Introduction
IBM Japan is seeking an experienced studio leader to join our team of marketing, communications, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) professionals. Your Role And Responsibilities
Currently seeking an experienced Studio Manager to lead our five people, high-performing IBM Innovation Studio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the overall studio strategy to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve business goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, innovative thinking, and rigorous experience management capabilities.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Required skills and experience:
- University degree in Marketing or similar field. International qualifications are highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise across all marketing disciplines.
- Experience working for a global or multinational company. Experience working outside of Japan is highly valued.
- 5+ years of sales or consulting experience , preferably with experience in B2B marketing or technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a people management role with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
- Experience managing a comprehensive departmental operations budget.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders around the world, including our US headquarters. Business-level Japanese language proficiency is also a must.
Desired Skills And Experience
- You will need communication skills to be able to negotiate confidently with executives.
- As a playing manager, you will have the creativity and ability to execute to lead sessions with clients with new ideas, create new best practices, and cascade them to increase the added value of the department.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to derive actionable insights from studio metrics.
