Amazon は、Amazon の物流拠点 (カスタマーフルフィルメント、Amazon Transportation Services、Amazon ロジスティクス、またはグローバルスペシャリティフルフィルメント) の大量採用プログラムをリードする意欲のあるスタッフィングリード (リクルーター/調達) を募集しています。
スタッフィングリードは、物流拠点での円滑な入出荷を実現するための人員確保をリードします。
主要なビジネス パートナーとともに Workforce Staffing (WFS) のオペレーショナル エクセレンスを推進するために、高いモチベーションと柔軟性を持っています。

・採用計画の立案や募集(求人広告等の出稿)を企画・実行するチームに対して最適な情報をインプットします。
・物流拠点運営責任者との定期的な会議を通じて、人員確保の進捗を共有します。問題が発生した場合は、チームで協力して解決にあたります。
・スタッフィングリードは、派遣会社との交渉を通じて、必要な人員確保を促進するとともに、Amazonで直接採用をした人材の充足の役割を担います。
- 隣接する物流拠点を複数担当していただきます。物流拠点での採用イベント・内定者イベント等をリードしますので、日帰り・宿泊の出張が発生します。(現在は原則オンラインで実施しています)
- 業務はマイクロソフトオフィスを使用します。特にエクセルとワードは日常的に使用します。
エクセルは、ピボットテーブル、IF関数、VLOOKUP関数等を使用してデータ分析を行います。
また、報告や提案など様々な場面において、ワードで文書を作成しています。
- 問題解決と分析に厳密なアプローチを取り、データから結論を導き出すとともに、ステークホルダーやオペレーションチームに、専門知識と技術的もしくは実行可能なガイダンスを提供します。
- ボトルネックの予測、エスカレーションの管理、トレードオフの予測と判断、ビジネスニーズと制約のバランスを取ります。
- ビジネスの優先順位を確立し、ステークホルダーと協力してリスクと緩和策を特定、伝達し、目標、マイルストーン、完了日を策定、維持します。
- 上級レベルのステークホルダーにアイデアを提示し、フィードバックを受け入れ、変更をすばやく適用します。
- 機密情報や重要な情報をすぐに判断して扱う能力
- 実務スキルと知的スキルを兼ね備え、また、複雑な分析、実践的なプロジェクト、プロジェクト管理などの様々な業務を迅速にこなし、適応できる能力
業務上、英語を使用する機会があります。海外のチームとの定期的な会議への参加やレポート作成、メール等で使用する機会があります。また、海外のチームとの連携は業務遂行上とても重要です。
主な責任には以下が含まれますが、これらに限定されません。
- 採用プロセスにおける潜在的な問題を特定し、是正措置/エスカレーションが完了していることを確認する
- オペレーション指標を深く掘り下げて、パフォーマンスの向上、不具合のトラブルシューティング、目標達成のための是正措置の策定を行う。
- オペレーション計画に携わるビジネスアナリストと直接対話し、指標の方法論と検証に関する議論を行う 。
- 顧客/パートナーのニーズとタスク分析を行い、プロジェクトの範囲を定め、既存のプロセスを評価してソリューションを提案する。

Amazon is looking for staffing leads (recruiters) that are motivated to lead mass recruitment programs for Amazon's logistics sites (Customer Fulfillment, Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon Logistics, or Global Specialty Fulfillment). Staffing Leads take the lead in securing personnel to achieve smooth receipt and shipment at logistics hubs. They are highly motivated and flexible to drive operational excellence for Workforce Staffing (WFS) with its major business partners.
A successful candidate must demonstrate strong consulting skills, exceptional ability to influence, organizational expertise, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for building data driven programs that improve business operations. They are self-motivated, solutions-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and innovative in developing best-in-class programs.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Workforce Planning & Execution
- Shape the future of workforce strategy by developing and executing comprehensive staffing plans aligned with business objectives, validating Labor Orders (Hiring Requirements) per guardrails, and participating in capacity planning calls
- Drive data-driven decision making by analyzing hiring trends, attrition patterns, and workforce metrics to uncover opportunities, deep dive operational performance to troubleshoot defects, and create remedial action plans that consistently deliver results
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that optimize hiring efficiency, quality, and speed-to-fill while reducing cost-per-hire through systematic process enhancements and automation
- Partner strategically with external staffing vendor managers on site-specific hiring and conversion strategies for business-critical locations, aligning on execution plans
- Navigate complexity with agility by anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, making strategic tradeoffs, and balancing competing business needs versus constraints
Daily Operational Leadership & Governance
- Lead daily operational excellence through site-specific huddles focused on capacity optimization and labor hour management, while facilitating Staffing Lead and Staffing Associate daily standup meetings for issue resolution and strategic alignment
- Serve as the go-to expert for day-to-day staffing inquiries from Operations teams and vendor partners, proactively identifying and resolving potential hiring process issues through systematic monitoring
- Engage in strategic governance through active participation in RLC and escalation reviews, ensuring corrective actions are completed timely
- Build executive relationships through regular 1-1 meetings with senior leadership for strategic guidance, alignment, and decision-making support
- Establish clear priorities while identifying risks early, developing mitigation plans, and communicating business priorities in close collaboration with stakeholders
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and inspire high-performing teams by leading, mentoring, and developing Staffing Associates across multiple sites through regular 1-1 meetings, meaningful performance reviews, and personalized career development discussions
- Drive accountability and results by establishing clear team goals, tracking performance metrics, holding team accountable for outcomes, and celebrating achievements
- Develop future leaders by identifying training needs and creating capability-building programs that elevate team performance and prepare associates for advancement
- Cultivate a winning culture rooted in customer obsession, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement across all team interactions and initiatives
Blue Badge (Direct) Hiring Leadership
- Champion direct hiring initiatives by leading referral events, HelloWork partnerships, conversion programs, and in-person New Hire Events (NHE) at sites to create memorable candidate experiences
- Connect with the frontline and community through regular Gemba walks to generate referrals and gather associate feedback, while visiting HelloWork offices to strengthen partnerships and expand candidate sourcing
- Drive innovative sourcing strategies by collaborating with Operations, Agencies, and Marketing teams to identify conversion candidates and optimize both paid and non-paid candidate attraction channels
- Expand diverse talent pipelines through specialized channels including foreign workers, PWD (Persons with Disabilities), and DEI initiatives, while forging community connections through partnerships with vocational schools and community organizations
Green Badge (Contractual) Workforce Management
- Orchestrate vendor coordination and regional alignment through weekly meetings to confirm Labor Order allocation, facilitate Operations and UTR team updates, and ensure operational readiness
- Execute Path to Green (PTG) excellence by onboarding new agencies, strengthening existing partnerships, optimizing shift allocation strategies, and managing vendor relationships effectively
- Ensure system accuracy and operational excellence by resolving Octomate staff rostering errors, handling Beeline system issues, maintaining data integrity, and monitoring Green Badge rostering accuracy
- Optimize workforce utilization by tracking attendance patterns, productivity metrics, and workforce performance while driving retention initiatives that reduce early attrition and enhance associate engagement
Stakeholder Management & External Partnerships
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Site Operations leadership on all workforce planning matters, conducting regular site-agency visits for coordination and partnership development
- Influence senior leadership by presenting compelling workforce insights, hiring forecasts, and strategic recommendations while collaborating with Business Analysts on operational planning and metric methodology
- Build cross-functional excellence by partnering with HR, Finance, Learning & Development, and Safety teams to deliver integrated workforce solutions
- Ensure compliance and integrity with labor laws, agency contracts, and Amazon policies across all operations while handling sensitive matters professionally with appropriate discretion and confidentiality
Systems & Data Management
- Own data integrity and system excellence by ensuring accuracy in HRMS systems for all associates, overseeing proactive maintenance, and driving rapid error resolution for workforce management tools
- Transform data into insights by leveraging analytics to generate actionable intelligence, inform strategic decisions, and perform customer/partner needs analysis
- Champion automation and innovation by implementing process improvements, evaluating existing processes, scoping projects, and proposing solutions that enhance operational efficiency
A day in the life
The WFS Team has an environment where team members collaborate, support each other, and learn together. As a Staffing Lead, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, conducting daily huddles with operations, leading your team through coaching and development, executing hiring events on the floor, managing vendor relationships, and presenting workforce insights. You will travel to multiple assigned sites for hiring events and stakeholder meetings (day trips and overnight stays may be required). You will use Microsoft Office applications daily, particularly Excel and Word. You will work with global teams in English through meetings, reports, and emails.
About the team
The Workforce Staffing (WFS) department, part of a global team, is seeking a teammate who can think from a customer-centric perspective and create further innovation in WFS as a Staffing Lead. This role primarily supports different operations divisions across Japan including Customer Fulfillment, Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon Logistics, and Global Specialty Fulfillment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of human resources experience
- Experience with HR processes and systems
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
