仕事内容:

This position is a part-time PBL Instructor (Educational Facilitator) at

KIPS (Kobe International PBL School Learning Hub).

You will support children's learning through Project-Based Learning (PBL) using English in a small-group, emotionally safe learning environment.

Rather than delivering lessons, you will work alongside students, respecting each child's interests, pace, and learning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate PBL activities using English
• Encourage students' questions, curiosity, and inquiry
• Support dialogue, creative work, and exploration in small groups
• Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Share observations and communicate with team members

• This role does not involve traditional lectures, grading, or exam preparation.
• Your role is not to provide answers, but to support students' learning journeys.

• Legally authorized to work in Japan
• Able to communicate effectively in English at a basic professional level
• Able to work with children while respecting each child's pace, emotions, and individual needs

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in education, PBL (Project-Based Learning), international education, special education, or child support
• Experience facilitating learning or educational activities using English

Schedule is flexible (1–3 days per week, 3–6 hours per day) and will be determined based on school needs and your availability.

Work Location & Smoking Policy

• The primary work location is the KIPS campus in Yamamoto-dori (Kitano area), Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo.
• There is no relocation or business travel.
• Depending on school events or activities, work may occasionally take place at nearby facilities or outdoor locations within Kobe City, with prior consultation.
• Smoking policy: The entire premises are non-smoking (both indoor and outdoor).

・主な勤務地は、兵庫県神戸市中央区山本通(北野)のKIPS拠点です。

・出張や転勤はありません。

・今後、学校行事や活動内容により、近隣施設や屋外での活動をお願いする場合があります(いずれも神戸市内、事前相談のうえ)。

給与:

Compensation Details

• Compensation is paid on an hourly basis.
• Hourly pay is determined based on experience, skills, and assigned responsibilities.
• There is no fixed overtime pay. Any overtime worked will be compensated separately in accordance with applicable labor laws.
• Transportation expenses are reimbursed separately, subject to company policy and limits.
• Bonuses and regular salary increases are generally not provided.
• Compensation during the probationary period remains the same as regular employment.
