■About Organization Division
The main task of the Transmission Network Technology Division is to construct, expand, and enhance backhaul networks supporting Rakuten Mobile's services. This work includes building the IP layer of network equipment, establishing a WDM network with transmission equipment, and handling various tasks such as wiring and construction in data centers and office buildings, along with vendor coordination. As a technical department connected to MBH, the Internet, and enterprise networks within RMI, our team collaborates closely with design and operation teams, engaging in considerations, verifications, applications, and operations handovers.
■Job Duties
Technical work involves considerations, verifications, and applications for IP networks linked to backhaul NW, Internet GW, and enterprise NW, including operation handovers. Some key concepts include SRv6, RON (Routed Optical Networking), Front haul/Mid haul/Back haul, Peering/IX/Transit.
■Minimum Qualification
• Background in routing and network design/settings
• Knowledge/experience with carrier/service provider networks
• Ability to engage in business discussions in English
■Preferred Qualification
• Experience in developing/reviewing design documents
• Experience in creating/reviewing testing-related documents
• Activity participation in RFC/IETF standards
