本ポジションでは、日本本社を拠点とし、新規に立上げる衛星開発チームの直属となります。候補者は、月周回衛星の設計・製造・運用・技術管理といった衛星ライフサイクルに必要なタスク群から、各自の特性に応じて担当していただくことを想定していますが、小さなチームですので自分の所掌範囲だけでなく、よりよい開発の為に他領域もカバーできるフレキシビリティも求められます。
ispace, inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Lunar Orbiter System Engineer to join the team developing the lunar orbiter spacecraft. The ideal candidate will have broad experience and technical knowledge in the spacecraft development with highly motivation to lead the project. In this position, you will join a small team and collaborate with ispace engineers and external partners.
The position will be based in Japan HQ and belongs to the newly established Lunar Orbiter development team. The potential candidate will be assigned to system engineering and/or project management tasks from the spacecraft design, manufacturing, operation, budget management, etc depending on the candidate's specialty. However, he/she is required to keep the flexibility to cover not only its own area of responsibility but also the other areas for better development.
This position is based in Tokyo, Japan and native Japanese level is required due to the communication with external partners.
Key responsibilities

- 衛星システム設計業務(トレードオフ検討、質量・電力・通信・推薬バジェット管理、ICD等)
- 衛星運用設計(運用計画・姿勢制御・軌道制御等)
- 衛星組立(組立計画・組立現場指揮等)
- 衛星システム試験(試験計画・試験現場指揮等)
- ランダーへの搭載調整(ICD, 搭載計画調整等)
Key responsibilities will be assigned from followings depending on the candidate specialty.
- Spacecraft Project management: cost, schedule management, etc
- Spacecraft system engineering: trade-off study, mass, power, communication, budget, ICD, etc
- Spacecraft Operation Plan: Concept of Operation, attitude control, orbit control
- Spacecraft Assembly and Integration: AIT plan, on-site AIT leading
- Spacecraft Testing: Test plan, on-site Test leading
- Lander interface coordination
Basic qualifications
- 工学/理学の学士号または修士号、または同等の学位。
- 航空宇宙産業における3年以上の実務経験、または同等の経験。
- システムエンジニアリング(電気分野や機械分野)の知識。
優れた対人能力、組織能力、コミュニケーション能力を有すること。
Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering / Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of work experience in the aerospace industry or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the system engineering (either electrical or mechanical)
- Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- 英語でのコミュニケーションスキル
- NASA-STD、ECSS、JAXA-STD、MIL-STDなどの宇宙機設計・試験規格に精通していること。
- FMECA、信頼性設計、ハザード解析の経験。
- 宇宙科学に関する知識を有すること
- Business Level English
- Familiarity with spacecraft design and test standards: e.g. NASA-STD, ECSS, JAXA-STD, MIL-STD
- Experience performing FMECA, reliability design, and/or hazard analysis.
- Knowledge of Space Science
