Subcontract Operations (Contract Manufacturing)

Solventum, an independent healthcare company formed after 3M's corporate spin-off on April 1, 2024, is a pioneer in developing groundbreaking innovations in healthcare, material science, and data analytics.

This department handles the import and procurement of products for medical surgical (hospital-focused business) and dental solutions (dentistry and orthodontics-focused business), ensuring compliance with Japan's Pharmaceutical Affairs Law and enabling domestic sales.

We are currently seeking candidates to fill a position responsible for creating SOPs compliant with pharmaceutical law, preparing domestic materials (user manuals, etc.), and managing product quality. The role also involves international conferences, requiring individuals who can excel globally.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Establishing processes to process medical equipment manufactured overseas for sale in Japan

2. Investigating and implementing efficiency improvements for the aforementioned process

3. Providing quality feedback to overseas manufacturing sites and promoting quality improvement

4. Pursuing Cash Cost Quality indicators

5. Inspecting imported products from overseas

Required Skills/Experience:

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
• Possession of interest in quality management
• Familiarity with ISO 9001
• Daily English conversation level

- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems for business management

- Previous experience in manufacturing quality-related roles

- Experience with pharmaceutical law-related work

- Knowledge of ISO 13485

Work Schedule:

・ Contract period: None (regular employee)

・ Probationary period: 3 months

・ Work location: Sagamihara

・ Working hours: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM

・ Holidays:

(1) Sundays and Saturdays

(2) National holidays and statutory holidays

(3) Year-end and New Year special holidays (December 30 - January 3)

(4) Summer vacation (principally 3 months from Monday to Friday in July, August, and September)
