The ideal candidate will manage and reduce security vulnerabilities, develop automation tools, and guide development teams to improve application and infrastructure security throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage vulnerabilities post-assessment through remediation or risk acceptance
- Collaborate with development and security teams to reduce risk from vulnerabilities
- Assess and review remediation proposals to ensure security compliance
- Develop and maintain security tools, scripts, automation, and reporting
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies
- Provide security training, mentorship, and documentation
- Perform security requirements analysis and design reviews as needed
- Contribute to cross-functional projects requiring security expertise
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with vulnerability management
- Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
- Experience with tools like SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners
- Familiarity with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001
- Business-level English (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent)
Desired Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP
- Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Experience in secure design reviews and threat modeling
- Familiarity with secure coding and code review practices
- Japanese proficiency a plus
