This opportunity is for an experienced video producer or videographer to support the production of a short narrative film in Japan, focusing on the story of an estranged father and son. The project requires on-site collaboration and hands-on involvement throughout the filming process. Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the lead videographer to plan and execute the film shoot in Japan
• Oversee on-site production logistics, including scheduling, equipment management, and location coordination
• Assist with casting, crew coordination, and securing necessary permits or permissions
• Ensure all technical aspects of filming are managed efficiently, including camera operation, lighting, and sound
• Troubleshoot production challenges and adapt to changing circumstances on set
• Maintain clear communication with all team members to ensure a smooth workflow
• Contribute creative input to enhance the narrative and visual storytelling

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience as a producer or videographer on narrative film projects
• Strong knowledge of film production processes, equipment, and on-set protocols
• Ability to work on-site in Japan and travel as required for the duration of the project

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
