Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the lead videographer to plan and execute the film shoot in Japan
Oversee on-site production logistics, including scheduling, equipment management, and location coordination
Assist with casting, crew coordination, and securing necessary permits or permissions
Ensure all technical aspects of filming are managed efficiently, including camera operation, lighting, and sound
Troubleshoot production challenges and adapt to changing circumstances on set
Maintain clear communication with all team members to ensure a smooth workflow
Contribute creative input to enhance the narrative and visual storytelling

Skills And Requirements

Proven experience as a producer or videographer on narrative film projects
Strong knowledge of film production processes, equipment, and on-set protocols
Ability to work on-site in Japan and travel as required for the duration of the project
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English; Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
Senior or expert-level experience in film production
