<業務詳細>
サイボウズではサービスの安定稼働のため、SREという役割のエンジニアがオンプレミス基盤を運用しています。
ミドルウェアの保守・運用から、ミドルウェアそのものの開発、運用ツールの開発などを行っています。
近年は、増加するユーザ数やアクセス数に対し性能面で基盤がスケールするよう、基盤から得られるデータを分析して最適化する開発が増えています。
また、現行のKVMベースの基盤「Forest」から、Kubernetes ベースの次期クラウド基盤「Neco」への移行プロジェクトも推進しています。
このように幅広い業務であるため、所属するメンバーも多様です。プログラミングや特定のOSSプロダクトの専門家のようなエンジニア色の強い人もいれば、運用作業やマネージメントを志向する人もいます。
それぞれの特色を生かし、チーム全体で協力し合って基盤を支えています。
<具体的な仕事内容>
・KVM・QEMU を活用して構築したクラウド基盤の開発、運用
・Nginx や keepalived などを使用する負荷分散、冗長化したシステムの管理
・各種ミドルウェアの性能評価と改善
・キャパシティプランニング、キャパシティコントロール
・クラウドサービス で生じる障害への対応
・Neco で構築中の次期クラウド基盤への移行
・他チームと連携した設計や開発
