Summary

This position is located within the Morale, Welfare & Recreation Club Alliance, Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The incumbent picks up food orders from Club Alliance kitchen to be delivered to various locations on base.

Duties

Help

Picks up food orders from Club Alliance kitchen to be delivered to various locations on base. Verifies receipts and orders with customers upon delivery.
Interacts and provides quality customer service to all patrons in the facility and in delivery services.
When not driving, maintains delivery vehicles, to include: cleans vehicles used for delivery; maintains and monitors vehicles per MWR regulations, policies and guidance
May assist with taking orders and prepping orders for delivery, as needed.
Ensures annual/monthly/daily inspections are completed in a timely manner and notifies Club Manager accordingly to schedule maintenance as needed.
Helps prepare orders for delivery.
Double checks order and verifies deliver to correct customer/address.
Completes vehicle log sheet

Position requires the incumbent to possess a valid Driver's License to drive up to 3500 Kg /10 passenger vehicle
The incumbent may work in inclement weather.
This position is subject to the possibility of work on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand English.
Must be able to read a map.
Must possess good customer service skills
Driver must be able to drive a van and electric vehicle.
Must be quick and accurate.
Must be able to follow all traffic rules and maintain good base driving record.
Must be able to drive during inclement weather conditions to include rain and snow.

Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision, and the ability to interpret instructions and specifications .

Education

This position does not have an education qualification requirement.
