(株) ISA - International Studies Abroad is an educationally focused travel agency that offers study abroad and domestic education programs for Japanese youth on a B2B or B2C basis.

Whilst some short term programs focus on ESL, many of our domestic education programs are related to Mindset Skills and other subjects.

Program Description

Our Global Competence program is a mindset skills program that covers domains such as global action, emotional intelligence, thinking skills, communication skills and multilingual skills.

The program is student centered and incorporates project based learning.

This is a multi year program and ideally we are looking for someone who can commit to working with us long term.

Your Role

This is not an English teaching position. The position is full time and 40 hours per week.

It is a combination of on site and remote, teaching up to 18 class hours per week. The successful applicant would be expected to lead classes and take on a T1 role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in using digital design tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 2 plus years working experience in Japanese junior high or senior high schools.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting

Salary

3.72 to 4.08 million yen per year negotiable.

310,000 to 340,000 yen per month.

*Only open to candidates currently in Japan with a valid working visa.

*Visa sponsorship, type change and extension is possible.

*Job location: Sendai, Miyagi (We are also hiring in other areas of Japan)
