当募集ポジションの配属先となるホールセールIT部GMIT課は、野村證券グローバルマーケッツ部門やミドルオフィス部門で主に使用されているアプリケーションの開発を自社開発で取り組んでいる組織になります。その中で今回のポジションを募集しているPrime Service ITチームは、野村證券が機関投資家向けに提供しているプライムサービス業務に関連するアプリケーションの開発を担当しております。開発チームはグローバルチーム(NY, Mumbai, London, HongKong)の体制になっており、120名を超える各拠点の開発者と共にグローバルで共通に使えるプラットフォームの開発に挑戦しております。

Nomura Global Market IT supports the in-house development of applications primarily used by Global Markets and Middle Office divisions. The Prime Services IT team, within the GMIT section, is responsible for the development of applications related to the prime services business offered by Nomura Securities to institutional investors. The development team operates in a global structure, with teams in NY, Mumbai, London, and Hong Kong, working alongside over 120 developers from various Nomura Group locations to develop platforms used globally.

As for the culture of Prime Service IT, it is an organization that promotes a hands-on approach. This means that as an engineer, project manager, or business analyst in team are encouraged to take the initiative and drive development as a lead role. The emphasis is not only on the upstream processes such as requirements definition and design, but also on executing tasks from implementation to release in a seamless manner.   • ユーザ部門の業務課題に対するソリューションの企画・立案と実現に向けたプロジェクト推進
  • 各拠点の開発メンバーおよび国内の開発者で構成される開発チームのマネジメント
  • 株券貸借システム(フロントおよびミドル)の機能設計、実装、リリースおよび保守
  • 日本国内における各種ベンダーとの契約調整やソフトウェアの発注および納品のマネジメント
  • 障害発生時のL3サポートおよびユーザからの機能問い合わせのサポート
  • Planning and proposing solutions for business challenges in user departments and driving projects to realization.
  • Managing development teams comprised of members from various locations and domestic developers.
  • Designing, implementing, releasing, and maintaining functionality for the stock lending system (front-end and middle).
  • Managing contract and deliveries with information vendors and software vendor companies in Japan.
  • Providing L3 support during incidents and supporting user inquiries regarding system functionality.

  • 7年以上のIT業界の経験 (金融業界であれば尚可)
  • IT PM/BAの経験
  • アプリケーション開発経験
  • 主体的なマインドセット
  • 高い学習意欲や好奇心
  • 課題解決や改善に対する積極性
  • 優れたコミュニケーション能力
  • 英語(ビジネスレベル) / 日本語(流暢なレベル)
  • Over 7+ years of experience in the IT industry (Financial Industry Preferred)
  • IT project management + PM/BA role experience
  • Application development experience
  • Pro-active mind-set
  • Demonstration of curiosity and a keen desire to learn
  • Willingness to propose solutions and to challenge others to improve
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • Business Level English / Fluent Level Japanese
