He/She will directly work with OEMs and suppliers across the world delivering innovative validation software that balances time-to-market, cost, and quality.
The successful candidate will work with and support customers of the our AVxcelerate product for autonomous vehicle/flight system testing, verification and validation.
He/She will support the deployment of our AVxcelerate solution on-premise and on Cloud for our customers as well as the integration of our solution in the customer environment, for Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop applications, in collaboration with a global team of seasoned engineers in the fields of defense and autonomous vehicle/flight systems.
You will work in multidisciplinary teams to contribute to end-to-end simulation solutions, expand your application domain and industry knowledge, and support the growth of the our business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Leads the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of a sales opportunity, e.g.
technical discovery, negotiation of technical success criteria, product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations. Works independently, results-oriented, across teams and organizations.As a credible hands-on expert in the customer's application, you will work with customers to better understand their product development requirements and what they need to improve their performance metrics.
You will address application-specific design and simulation requirements by utilizing the relevant our product technologies and platforms that best meet the customer's needs.
You will internalize the our value proposition and convince the customer of the compelling reasons to use our tools.Support the development of differentiating simulation solutions using the our platform and our products; implement our solutions into your customers' design workflows.
Expand your expertise and become a recognized expert in your field of application.Collaborate with the Product Development to translate customer requirements into new product features; participate in the testing of new product releases, develop application best practices Support the Field and Digital Marketing team by developing promotional materials and supporting events, author conference presentations.
Contribute to and lead professional service deliveries and conduct training classes.Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or related field Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0 Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages Subject matter expert in one or more relevant disciplines within Ansys business and is/will be sought out for advice by other Ansys engineers Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of time Provide 4-6 skills that are absolutely required to perform the duties of the advertised position
