Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with customers to engineer what's ahead, solve real-world engineering problems, deploy Ansys software in design workflows, and grow Ansys' business. As a hands-on subject matter expert, use expert-level engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support, perform professional services, and translate customer requirements into exciting new product features. Work within multi-disciplinary teams to create pervasive simulation solutions, advance industry knowledge, and grow business impact. Key duties include coordinating and executing technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, interacting with customers to understand product design needs, analyzing how to address customer requirements using Ansys products and platform, and articulating Ansys' value proposition. Assist in creating differentiating simulation solutions using the Ansys platform and products, deploy solutions within customers' design workflows, develop competence as a subject matter expert and industry expert, and collaborate with Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into exciting new product features. Minimum education and certification requirements include a BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment. Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages is also required. Preferred qualifications include a BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3 in an engineering software environment, 2 years of experience in application engineering, customer support, or consulting services type customer facing roles using engineering software, and ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives.
