Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HMI IVI development projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project outcomes with the product vision and business objectives.
• Drive project execution, manage risks, and optimize resource allocation to achieve maximum productivity.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Work closely with design, product management, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA for project management and documentation to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
• Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in HMI IVI system development and project management, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
• In-depth understanding of automotive software development processes and tools, including Java programming language.
• Experience managing projects with Java programming language, Android SDK, and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and preferred experience with DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Proficiency in Japanese language (N2 or above) and cultural sensitivity to work effectively in a diverse and international environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.
• Nice to have certifications related to Project/Program Management.
