About the Company / Role:
A well-established financial services organization is opening a new headcount for an accounting leadership position working on a team of 5 members.

Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for SPCs, including monthly/quarterly/annual closings in compliance with Japanese GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
Prepare and review financial statements, regulatory filings, tax documentation, and statutory reports
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, asset managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Requirements:
7+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to SPCs, real estate funds, structured finance, or corporate accounting in Japan
Strong knowledge of Japanese GAAP and local regulatory/tax requirements; IFRS familiarity is a plus
Fluent Japanese and English communication
Residence and legal right to work in Japan
