Job Title: Cargo Services Executive
Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Cargo Services Executive. As a key member of our cargo operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the smooth operation of our cargo handling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cargo reservations and bookings while providing outstanding customer service
- Provide timely vendor notification for on-time and delayed flights
- Assist in achieving performance targets through operational oversight and participation
Administrative Support
- Prepare flight documentation for crew and Customs
- Coordinate effectively between engineering, airport operations, air traffic control, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and service provision
- Assist with crew administration and support matters at the port
Ramp Coordinator (RCO)
- Monitor and ensure the required procedures are properly carried out by Ramp Handling Operator and the Cargo Terminal Operator particularly for special cargo, movement of in/out cargo and mail units on an ad-hoc basis, loading and unloading of freighter, etc.
- Monitor the acceptance and release of such special cargo as animals, engine, vehicle, bulky shipment, and odd-sized items
- Coordinate the activities in the warehouse and conduct quality checks on cargo handling from the Cargo Terminal Operator and the Ramp Handling Operator
Safety, Security, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance and conformance to all regulatory and internal safety, security, quality, and procedural requirements
- Undertake quality check programs established by Head Office and participate in audits as required
- Carry out the responsibilities of a local Dangerous Goods Coordinator as per agreed guidelines
Requirements
- University degree (or tertiary equivalent) preferably with a logistics, sales, and marketing or business discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the cargo industry is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Natural customer service orientation
- Attentive to detail
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Japanese
- Must have the legal right to live and work in Japan
Benefits
- Basic salary: JPY223,300/month (inexperienced), JPY234,470/month (at least one year of relevant experiences)
- Fixed allowance per month: JPY38,000 + Basic salary x 7.4%
- Other allowances: company regulations apply
- Social insurance: Unemployment insurance, Worker's compensation insurance, Health insurance, Welfare pension insurance
- Commuting expense allowance: Up to JPY50,000/month
- Bonus: None
- Retirement allowance: None
- Working hours per day: 7.25 hours
- Break time: 1 hour
- Off day: Two days off every week
- Probation period: 3 months
- Annual leave: 16 days in the first year after completing 6 month service
- Potential for additional discretional bonus (depends on the company's performance and financial status)
