Section 1: Responsibility Summary
The Procurement Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of Procurement Platforms, such as Coupa, ChromeRiver and Vendorful. They will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their business requirements, implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operations across systems globally. Collaborates with Procurement, Finance, GBS AP and Masterdata, on continuous improvement opportunities.
The Procurement Systems Administrator will provide technical support and assistance to end-users experiencing issues with the systems, applications or hardware. This may involve troubleshooting problems, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption to business operations. They will conduct training sessions or workshops to educate users on best practices and escalate complex issues to management.
Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Analytics
Section 2: QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Field or 2-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator
In-depth knowledge of Coupa or similar system, configuration and general administration best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions
Project management skills: planning, scheduling and managing resources
Experience with system upgrades and data migrations
Ability to meticulously manage system configurations, predict outcomes and manage risks
Experience with ERP systems, finance systems, and other procurement tools is a plus
Coupa Certifications a Plus
Section 3: Critical Skills/Knowledge
Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of System Architecture, configuration options and administration tools
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, propose effective solutions and develop an action plan
Analytical: Capacity to document business requirements, evaluate solutions and translate them into a systems configuration
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communications skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Project Management : Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Set expectations and deliver results within established timeline
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, such as SOX, VAT and Data Privacy and the ability to ensure Adds/Moves and Changes align with these regulations.
ERP and Finance Systems Knowledge (Optional): Familiarity with ERP systems, finance systems, and other procurement tools can be beneficial
Scripting and Programming Skills(Optional): Basic understanding of scripting or programing languages
