Job Overview

Rakuten Bank, the largest internet bank in Japan with over 14 million accounts, is seeking a skilled professional to join its Data Intelligence Department. This team was established in 2017 and focuses on strategically utilizing data to support decision-making, including strategy planning, marketing measures, investment, and credit administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform multi-faceted analysis using Rakuten Bank, Rakuten Group, and external data to inform service planning and proposal.
2. Develop data infrastructure and foster a culture of data analysis across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with data analysis using Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with database management and Linux command usage.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the banking industry or with data analysis and development.
• Familiarity with public cloud usage, web access analysis, and data warehousing.

Salary

¥10,000,000 - ¥15,000,000 per year
