Procurement Analyst, Logistics

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

• Assist leading logistics modal category responsibilities (LTL, TL, parcel, global ocean, global air, warehousing, etc.). These activities will include, but not be limited to, the identification, qualification, and negotiation with suppliers and their contracts.
• Assist developing and executing the strategic procurement vision while driving innovation and continuous improvement with the Logistics supply base.
• Supporting, and actively participating in, the global Procurement and Logistics Operations team.
• Oversight of financial metrics (including forecasting) for category Headwinds, Tailwinds, Cost Avoidance, and Projects.
• Stay abreast of current market intelligence across all modes of transport.

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND a minimum of 5 years of related supply chain experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience related to logistics or transportation procurement.
• Experience in contract and supplier management in a Procurement environment.
• Strong data analysis (including Excel spreadsheets), negotiating, and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated in ambiguous and autonomous role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assertive, organized, and detail oriented.

Additional qualifications include:

• Master's degree in a business or industry related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Must speak and write fluent English.
• Candidate with fluent Japanese preferred.

Work location:

• Remote and hybrid.
• Japan/Korea/China/Singapore accepted.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and/or international.

Relocation Assistance: will not be authorized.
