As Director of Engineering and Security, you will lead the hotel's technical operations and safety strategy from pre-opening through daily operations. You'll oversee engineering systems, maintenance, energy management, and security protocols to ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
・ Lead engineering and security strategy for pre-opening and ongoing operations

・ Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems

・ Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs

・ Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and Hyatt standards

・ Manage security protocols, emergency procedures, and surveillance systems

・ Recruit, train, and develop engineering and security teams

・ Monitor technical KPIs and support operational efficiency

・ Foster a culture of safety, care, and continuous improvement

主な業務内容
・ 開業準備および運営における技術・安全戦略の統括

・ 空調・電気・配管・防災設備などのメンテナンス管理

・ 省エネ施策・サステナビリティプログラムの導入

・ 地元の法令、安全基準、ハイアットのスタンダードの遵守

・ セキュリティ体制、緊急対応手順、監視システムの管理

・ エンジニアリング・セキュリティチームの採用・研修・育成

・ 技術関連 KPI の監視と業務効率の支援

・ 安全・思いやり・継続的改善を重視した文化の醸成

Qualifications
Qualifications
・ Minimum 2 years' experience as Director or Assistant Director/Manager of Engineering in a lifestyle or luxury hotel in Japan

・ Pre-opening Experience Is Highly Preferred
・ Strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills

・ Deep understanding of safety regulations and building systems

・ Fluency in Japanese and English
