Rakuten Payment, as a member of the Rakuten Group Fintech Group Company, is developing businesses on payment services such as "Rakuten Pay," "Rakuten Edy," and "Point Partner."

Department Overview
Our team operates under Rakuten Payment, but our mission is to support the architecture strategies and provide technical assistance to various companies within the Rakuten FinTech group, thereby solving challenges and contributing to the delivery of better services.
This position focused on Infra architect and Cloud architect.
Position
Position Details
You will take a variety of approaches depending on the situation.
- Support for FinTech group companies in developing strategies for system renewal
- Infra design support for solving difficult problems
- Assisting in the adoption of new technologies and demonstrating their effectiveness
- Observing internal conditions and challenges to formulate long-term technical strategies
- Acting as a Infra tech lead, establishing development standards and improving the development environment
Work Environment
Small elite team
Mid-career professionals with experience in various industries, both within and outside Rakuten
Mandatory Qualifications
Preferred experience includes any of the following:
- Infra design, and operation of large-scale web systems
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Experience in creating overall system architecture
- Experience as Infra tech lead
- Experience in migrating to Public Cloud from On-premises environment (Any type of public cloud is acceptable)

- Understand the importance of a business mindset without being overly focused on technology
- Able to lead negotiations and discussions with parties with differing interests
