About The Role
In this opportunity as an Attorney Product Specialist, you will:
Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive the development of AI-legal research features and related technologies on Westlaw Japan
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Labs teams to develop and define an updated legal research experience on Westlaw Japan
Assist in the testing and validation of generative artificial intelligence technology for legal industry applications designed for legal practitioners in Japan
Draft, review, and refine prompts for Westlaw AI skills and tools, ensuring high-quality AI content requirements that leverage your expert knowledge in Japanese law.
Contribute to understanding our customers' pain points and goals to help articulate value propositionsSupport the development of advanced use cases for attorneys utilizing the Legal Solutions product, platform
Provide feedback on Westlaw Japan and other legal products ongoing performance to our team of engineers and data scientists
Translate Legal requirements by helping to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear functional specifications for product development and engineering teams.
About YouYou're a fit for the role of Attorney Product Specialist if you possess these attributes:

Your background should include
Law degree and license to practice law in Japan required
Fluency in both Japanese and English
Minimum of 2-3 years practice experience in law firm or in-house setting (some litigation experience preferred)
Computer proficient with strong understanding in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of legal research platforms both in Japan and/or internationally especially AI-legal research related tools, products and services
